Ellie had her first soccer game on Saturday. They actually played two games, they lost the first and won the second! I was so glad it ended up that way! Ellie scored a goal in the second game and it is amazing to me how much joy fills your body instantly when your kid scores a goal! I was on a natural high for like an hour. We have the coolest team! They are 1st, 2nd & 3rd graders, so there is quite a difference in skill, but they all try so hard! I have always wanted to try to coach, so I volunteered and well, here I am. We practice every Tuesday and to be honest, I really look forward to it. I think it just as much fun for me as it is for Ellie. Go Ellie!
