We were "received" at many banquets during our trip. This was my first banquet and the host was so excited about our conversation at this banquet in Nanjing, and to tell us so many things about his city and involvement in the Arts, he "received" us the next day at another banquet even more elegant than this one. I don't know what I ate, and I don't want to know.
