One of my moms friends told her that while she was walking on the path by the
river behind Kmart, she saw a bunch of my moms campaign signs in the river. We decided to take a look
and sure enough - there they were at the bottom of the clear river! So on my birthday Ellie and
Mazie and I decided we didn't care if it was cold- we were going to get them! Ellie didn't get very far - the water was freezing!
Mazie did the best-she collected a bunch of them and I even got a few out. It was so cold but we felt like hero's rescuing stolen signs. The signs got to go up for one more day! After the election, Joe and dad went to collect all the yard signs, they collected about 280. FYI- we put up over 600 yard signs in the two months leading up to the election, so that made about 300 yard signs taken .......

Way to go! the fish were not voting?? Teancum says, "that is weird with all the signs in the water."
